Head and shoulders portrait of Pierre Louis Dulong.
Inscribed: “Paris, Rosselin, 21. Quai Voltaire. Imp. Lith. Formentin, Rue des Sts.Peres, 10. Dulong 40.” With a facsimile signature. Inscribed in pencil lower left “Born 1785 Elect Died 1856”.
Pierre Louis Dulong was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1826.
