Description
Oval head and shoulders portrait of Frazer in military uniform, wearing the medal of Knight Commander, Order of the Bath and a fur trimmed robe draped around his shoulders.
Inscribed: “SIR AUGUSTUS S. FRAZER. Knight Commander of the Bath. Colonel of the Royal Horse Artillery and Director of the Royal Laboratory. On stone by C Hamberger. Printed by C.Hullmandel.” In pencil lower left “1816”.
Sir Augustus Simon Frazer was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1816.
