Object history
Presented by Noreen Murray FRS and Ken Murray FRS, 2010.
The possibility that the works would be presented to the Society was a suggestion from Noreen Murray in March 2010: “our portraits...by the artist who did the portrait of Aaron Klug (former President of the Royal Society...it would be nice if both could come to the Royal Society. We are very happy about this, wherever they reside.” [e-mail, Noreen Murray to Alison Pemberton, Royal Society Director of Development, 1 March 2010. Royal Society Provenance File].
One of a pair of portraits by Jeff Stultiens, the other of Ken Murray.
