    Description
    Half-length portrait of Raphael Meldola dressed in red and grey academic robes over a dress white shirt and tie with gold studs and a black waistcoat showing a watch-chain. Meldola is bearded and wears a gold pinz-nez with chain.

    Raphael Meldola was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1886.
