Description
Inscription of 975 AD and stonework details found on a gateway in Worcester, England [Edgar’s Tower gateway?]. The text account notes that over the gate was the house occupied by Joseph Dougharty [surveyor]. From the manuscript copy of “Some considerations on the antiquity ad use of the Indian characters or figures”, by John Cope. Not signed.
