Description
Zoological study showing specimens of the barnacle described here as Lepas hameri, later as Balenus hameri with two enlarged details A-B showing open and closed states. Later described by Charles Darwin in A monograph on the fossil balanidae and verrucidae of Great Britain (London, Palaeontological Society, 1854).
