Plate 21 figure 2 from the paper "On the motions of the eye, in illustration of the uses of the muscles and nerves of the orbit", by Charles Bell, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.113 (1823), pp.166-186. View of the eyeball and its muscles seen in profile, the eye 'looking' to the right. Inscribed with publication and plate details and with instructions to the printer in pencil, below, "Both figures to be on the same Plate. T.C." [Taylor Combe FRS, Royal Society Secretary].
