    Description
    Zoological studies of two specimens of insectivorous animals. Figure 1 is the Giant anteater (modern taxonomy Myrmecophaga tridactyla) from South America at one-quarter life size, with an inset detail of the scaly skin from the animal’s tail. The image was drawn from a stuffed specimen at Stuttgart, Germany. Figure 2 is the Sunda pangolin (Manis javanica) from South-east Asia at one-third life size.
