Eskdalemuir Observatory

Eskdalemuir Observatory was constructed in 1904 under the auspices of the Meteorological Office and the Royal Society to make geomagnetic and meteorological observations. This gallery contains photographs of the Observatory's buildings and instruments from an album compiled by the Observatory's first Clerk Assistant, Albert Edgar Gendle.
